Young Careers
Last updated - 7 November 2018
Since we launched our programme in 2015, we've given work placements to hundreds of young people. Our Apprenticeship Programme was launched at the same time. It has secured work for over 150 young people at our Genesis offices and with our key partners.
We also support young people with their education. University students are employed to support 32 young people in primary school each year with their tuition.

Corporate Work Experience Programme
The Notting Hill Genesis work experience programme gives young people the chance to get real life, valuable experience. It is run twice a year, in March and October during half term and we also take ad hoc placements throughout the year.
We offer a wide range of placements including IT, Finance, Communications, HR and more. Last year saw us have our biggest intake to date.
Our programme has been very successful and it has been Gold Standard Accredited by Fair Train. At the 2016 annual Spark! Awards, we were awarded Work Experience Company of the year.
If you want to get involved or want to find out more, please contact SEI@genesisha.org.uk.

Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are a great way to start or progress your career. We only offer high-quality roles and aim to retain talent and help you continue your career at Notting Hill Genesis.
Last year we had 44 apprentices start with Notting Hill Genesis or one of our contractors. You can search for any new roles by visiting our 'Apply now' section.
We also have access to apprenticeships with our partners. We can make a recommendation and refer you to the right opportunity. Just email us at SEI@genesisha.org.uk.
Tutors United
We have partnered with Tutors United to give afterschool classes to young residents. This is taking place at Woodberry Down and Grahame Park schemes.
They tutor Year 5 and 6 pupils to improve English and Maths attainment for those moving to secondary school. The tutors are university students that are trained and employed to teach. The hope is that this will help children to aspire to further education.
This service runs on Woodberry Down in Hackney and Grahame Park in Barnet. To find out more please contact SEI@genesisha.org.uk.
