Improving the maths and english skills of primary school children
Tutors United aims to improve the maths and English skills of primary school students by utilising the skills of university students as afterschool tutors on paid work experience

This project has supported year 5 & 6 pupils from Grahame Park and Woodberry Down estates for the past 3 years. They also hold parent’s evenings where they invite parents in to review their child’s progress. Some of the students enrolled on the tuition classes don’t speak English as a first language so the support they receive from Tutors United is vital in ensuring they are working to the best of their ability at school.

Tutors United has been delivering on our Grahame Park and Woodberry Down Estates. After receiving funding through our GWF, they will start delivering in Camden & Tower Hamlets in the next academic year. To get in touch about enrolling your child on the programme, please email SEI@genesisha.org.uk.
